Resource efficiency means much more than conserving natural resources. It also includes the productivity factors of material, machinery and labour.

Our machines are equipped with electric servo pump drives, which are more efficient than hydraulic permanent pump drives. Likewise, our plasticising systems are energy-optimised and contribute to the reduction of primary energy requirements.
For more than 20 years, we have been incorporating recycled materials into suitable production processes. Selected plastic waste is processed and reintroduced into the production cycle as regranulate.
We recycle production waste directly at the production units or prepare it for recycling using our own re-granulating extruder. Our recycling rate is thus approx. 80%.

In industry, waste heat is generated at many points in the production process and is often released unused into the environment. So that the waste heat generated in the production process can be used again in the company, we use intelligent heat exchangers - also called heat exchangers - for heat recovery.
We use recovered process heat to heat our buildings. This allows us to cover 100% of our heating energy needs with process heat, without the need for an additional heating source.
For years, we have managed without fossil fuels or auxiliary heating.
Electric mobility is firmly established in our vehicle fleet.
The charging stations for our electric vehicles are powered by our own electricity, which we generate with our PV system. Our e-fleet includes e-trucks, all-electric cars and hybrids.
Since 2018, we have enabled our employees to use high-quality e-bikes. With this offer, we want to specifically promote the health of our employees.
Our mobility program encourages active mobility among our employees, while we are increasingly opting for e-bikes and electric vehicles for business travel.
