style=\"font-size: 20px\"><strong>1933 &#8211; 1945<\/strong><\/p>\nDie Zeit nach dem 1. Weltkrieg war in ganz Deutschland gepr\u00e4gt von Inflation und Arbeitslosigkeit. Der Battenberger Carl Naumann war einer von ca. 8 Millionen Arbeitslosen in dieser Zeit. Mit einem kleinen Fotogesch\u00e4ft versuchte er sich u\u0308ber Wasser zu halten. 1933 hatte er dann die Idee zu einem sogenannten Antennen-Blitzschutzautomaten. Dieser machte das l\u00e4stige Trennen des Antennenanschlusses bei Radioempf\u00e4ngern \u00fcberfl\u00fcssig. Ausschlaggebend f\u00fcr seine Erfindung war der allabendliche Satz aus dem Radio: \u201eund nun vergessen Sie nicht, Ihre Antenne zu erden.\u201c Carl Naumann entwickelte diesen Blitzschutzautomaten und gr\u00fcndete seine Firma CENA-Werkst\u00e4tten in Battenberg. Er lie\u00df die Einzelteile extern fertigen, die Montage und den Verkauf bewerkstelligten die Eheleute Carl und Marie Naumann in der Battenberger Oberstadt zun\u00e4chst selbst. Da die Biltzschutzautomaten einen guten Absatz hatten, konnten sie nach kurzer Zeit auf eine eigene Fertigung umstellen. Dies gelang im Jahr 1936 durch den Kauf der ersten Kunstharzpresse. Der Isolator wurde ab dieser Zeit &#8211; statt aus Porzellan &#8211; nun aus Bakelit, einem duroplastischen Kunststoff, hergestellt. Damit war das kleine Unternehmen am Puls der Zeit und die Kunststoffverarbeitung hatte begonnen. Carl Naumann stand selbst an der Presse und seine Frau Marie entgratete die Teile. Mit Ausbruch des 2. Weltkriegs hatte das kleine Unternehmen vier Kunstharz-Pressautomaten und besch\u00e4ftigte drei bis vier Hilfskr\u00e4fte. Zwischen 1941 und 1945 musste die Fertigung eingestellt werden, da Carl Naumann als Soldat eingezogen wurde.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element 20px;\"><strong>1946 &#8211; 1966<\/strong><\/p>\nDie vor Kriegsanfang begonnene Produktion konnte wieder aufgenommen werden und die Fertigung von Antennenzubeh\u00f6r nahm an Bedeutung zu. Carl Naumann entwickelte auch weitere Artikel, jetzt f\u00fcr UKW-Antennen. Die R\u00e4umlichkeiten in der Battenberger Oberstadt wurden bald zu klein und es wurde eine alte Wehrmachtsbaracke neben dem damaligen Sportplatz aufgestellt und instandgesetzt. Anfang 1950 erwarb er dann den ersten Spritzgussautomaten, mit dem Thermoplaste verarbeitet werden konnten. Durch die Verarbeitung von Thermolasten entstanden viele neue Produktideen und Anwendungsbereiche. Die Firma entwickelte sich und mit Ihr auch die Geb\u00e4ude. Ein neues Firmengeb\u00e4ude mit Wohnhaus wurde gebaut. 1952 begann CENA mit dem ersten eigenen Werkzeugbau, anf\u00e4nglich noch mit gebraucht erworbenen Maschinen. Hier wurden die Spritzgussformen f\u00fcr die verschiedenen Artikel selbst gefertigt und Teile nach Kundenwunsch mit ins Programm aufgenommen. Anfang der 60er Jahre hatte die Firma CENA-Werkst\u00e4tten mittlerweile ca. 50 Mitarbeiter. Im Jahre 1965 verkaufte Carl Naumann einen Gro\u00dfteil der Produktionsanlagen an die Firma Hettich aus Kirchlengern, fu\u0308r die zuvor produziert wurde. Mit diesen Anlagen ging auch ein gro\u00dfer Anteil des Personals zur Firma Hettich, die zun\u00e4chst noch in den bestehenden Hallen weiter style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><strong>1967 &#8211; 1988<\/strong><\/p>\nMit dem Erl\u00f6s aus dem Verkauf wurden neue Firmengeb\u00e4ude Am Bahnhof 4 &#8211; direkt gegen\u00fcber dem bisherigen Standort &#8211;  gebaut und im Jahr 1966 bezogen. Hier ging es dann mit deutlich weniger Maschinen und Personal weiter. Die Firma CWB (CENA Werk Battenberg) wurde liquidiert und das verkleinerte Unternehmen, in dem nur noch 10 Mitarbeiter t\u00e4tig waren, als CENA Kunststoff KG neu gegr\u00fcndet. Carl Naumann war  Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrer, die Gesellschaft geh\u00f6rte jetzt aber den beiden T\u00f6chtern Marie-Luise Hinrichs und Erika M\u00fcller. Das Unternehmen entwickelte sich gut und Carl Naumann \u00fcbertrug 1972 die Verantwortung f\u00fcr das Familienunternehmen an seine Tochter Marie-Luise Hinrichs. Die Schwester Erika M\u00fcller schied aus dem Unternehmen aus. Mit unternehmerischem K\u00f6nnen und Weitblick entwickelten Marie-Luise Hinrichs und ihr Mann Walter Hinrichs die Firma. Sie bauten Standardprogramme f\u00fcr Artikel aus, die ab Lager verkauft wurden, fertigten aber auch weiterhin Sonderteile. Anfang der 80er Jahre wurde, aufgrund der Anregung von Carl Naumann, das Programm Kabelverschraubungen und Zubeh\u00f6r in das Fertigungsprogramm mit aufgenommen. 1983 feierte die gesamte Familie Naumann, Hinrichs und M\u00fcller das 50-j\u00e4hrige Bestehen der Firma CENA Kunststoff gemeinsam mit den langj\u00e4hrigen Mitarbeitern und Vertretern aus Stadt und Umfeld. Zu dieser Zeit war die Mitarbeiterzahl auf 14 angewachsen. Bereits zu Beginn der 80er Jahre erkannten Marie-Luise und Walter Hinrichs die Potentiale einer automatisierten Produktion und planender Organisation. In den folgenden Jahren entwickelten sie eigene Computersoftware speziell f\u00fcr ihre Spritzgussproduktion, automatisierten die Rohstoffzuf\u00fchrung, die Produktion der Artikel und deren Abtransport. Die oft noch selbst gebauten Hei\u00dfkan\u00e4le wurden, lange bevor andere Firmen diese Idee vermarkteten, f\u00fcr mehrere Spritzgusswerkzeuge verwendet (\u201eHei\u00dfe Seite\u201c). Bereits damals wurde in Nachhaltigkeit investiert, es wurden zum Beispiel Materialsilos gebaut, um Verpackung und Arbeit zu sparen und gleichzeitig besser auf schwankende Materialpreise reagieren zu 20px;\"><strong>1989 \u2013 2019<\/strong><\/p><p>Um 1990 begannen die Kinder der Familie Hinrichs nach ihrer externen beruflichen Ausbildung mit im Unternehmen zu arbeiten. Beide Generationen haben seit diesem Zeitpunkt die Weiterentwicklung des Unternehmens im Fokus.<\/p><p>Es entstand ein selbst entwickeltes Betriebsdatenerfassungssystem, das die Produktionsmaschinen \u00fcberwacht und eine personallose Nachtschicht erm\u00f6glicht. Im Jahr 1998 zogen sich die Eheleute Hinrichs aus dem operativen Gesch\u00e4ft zur\u00fcck und \u00fcbertrugen die Verantwortung an ihre beiden Kinder Ulrike Steiner und Klaus Hinrichs. In der nun folgenden Zeit vollzog sich wieder eine Erneuerung und Verbesserung des Unternehmens. Die eigens entwickelte und an das Unternehmen angepasste Software, die nicht mehr mit den modernen Anforderungen standhalten konnte, wurde auf eine Standardsoftware f\u00fcr Spritzgu\u00dfbetriebe umgestellt. Das eigene Betriebsdatenerfassungssystem wurde um die wichtige \u00dcberwachung aller f\u00fcr die Produktion wichtiger Funktionen wie K\u00fchlwasser, Zentraltrockner, etc. erweitert und mit den Maschinen vernetzt. Bei gravierenden Problemen wird die gesamte Produktion automatisch abgeschaltet. Der Neubau des Lagers mit direkt angrenzender Logistikanbindung verbessert nicht nur die Abl\u00e4ufe, sondern bietet auch Platz um die in die Jahre gekommenen Geb\u00e4ude nacheinander zu sanieren und zu d\u00e4mmen. Dies wiederum ist die Voraussetzung, dass mit Neubau der Maschinenk\u00fchlung diese Abw\u00e4rme komplett zur Beheizung der Geb\u00e4ude genutzt werden kann. Bei der 75-Jahrfeier hatte die Firma bereits 30 Mitarbeiter, die Kunden verteilen sich auf Deutschland und die gesamte Europ\u00e4ische Union. Das Produktportfolio wird stetig erweitert, zahlreiche Patente werden angemeldet und es kamen Zulassungen f\u00fcr eigene Produkte hinzu. Ein neuer Schwerpunkt wird, mit Kunden gemeinsame Produkte zu entwickeln. Das nachhaltige Wirtschaften bestimmt die Firmenpolitik von Ulrike Steiner und Klaus Hinrichs. Seit Ende der 1990er Jahre ist das Unternehmen ISO 9001 zertifiziert und nutzt die Auswertungen daraus f\u00fcr kontinuierliche Verbesserungsprozesse in allen Bereichen. Es wurde in Photovoltaik und die Aufarbeitung von Material investiert. Durch die Automatisierung der Montageartikel kann die Qualit\u00e4t und Liefertreue deutlich gesteigert werden. Die strategische Ausrichtung der CENA Kunststoff gestaltet die neue 3-k\u00f6pfige Unternehmensf\u00fchrung in enger Abstimmung. Trotz schwieriger Rahmenbedingungen durch die Covid-Pandemie und die weltwirtschaftlichen Entwicklungen hat die \u00dcbernahme des Gesch\u00e4fts reibungslos funktioniert. Der Anspruch des Unternehmens seit fast 90 Jahren und 3 Generationen ist es, qualitativ hochwertige Produkte in gleichbleibender Qualit\u00e4t zu liefern.
